Modern Art in Knoxville



A few weeks ago I went with some friends to Knoxville, TN to see a show at the Historic Tennessee Theatre.  That weekend happened to be the first day of the Art in Public Places exhibit, a part of the annual Dogwoods Festival of the Arts.

Modern art sculptures have been placed at seven different locations around Knoxville for the Art in Public Places exhibit.  The ones I saw were along Gay Street in the Old City part of Knoxville.

  1. pamela, the photos were marvelous! i especially loved the first few of them, whimsical! i've been to knoxville once but was only passing through...tennessee is such a lovely place! hope you had a great time there :)
