Five on Friday
Trav at Trav's Thoughts has a Five on Friday meme on his blog where you pick five songs to share with your friends. You can choose a theme or just pick random songs. Create a playlist at Playlist.com or use any type of media.
I've created my first 5 on Friday list. Not really a theme here. Some of them have been around a very long time and others are more recent. Numbers 1 and 5 on the list have been favorites of mine for a while. Numbers 2 thru 4 I've only recently discovered, even though they've been around a while. Number 3 I first heard covered by Pearl Jam but I'm loving the songwriter's version below even better. I know some may not be the sort of music that you like; but I hope you find some you enjoy.

I thought your set flowed really well together - all these artists have a mellow folk/blues vibe going on. Hadn't heard Vedera before and quite enjoyed her. Janis of course is beyond fabulous.
